I have enjoyed a passionate commitment to fine art photography since my high school days of film and darkroom. In the past 25 years, I have stayed current with the impressive progress being made in digital imaging and print-making. This has allowed me to capture, edit, and display a rich array of images from the visible and infrared light spectrum in color, black-and-white, and tinted monochrome. I print my photographs with archival inks on fine art paper and also transfer them to stone tiles by an innovative method. I am also beginning to find ways of integrating modern digital imaging with antique printing methods. My work features European and New England scenes that furnish the raw material for the novel aesthetic interpretations I seek of their inspirational land, sea, city, and village scapes. My pieces have been sold privately and through galleries; appeared on book covers; been exhibited in local businesses and galleries; accepted for numerous juried shows; and won several awards in international competitions. Please visit me in Studio 1b at the Farmington Valley Arts Center in Avon, CT or my website at glennaffleckstudio.com. I personally mat and frame prints and make image transfers to stone tiles in a variety of sizes, styles, and formats and will respond quickly to any purchase inquiries at firstname.lastname@example.org or at 860-849-1996.
